The knock-out rose has been holding its own - and the August Beauty gardenia has one beautiful bloom.






The garden bench with it's overflowing pot of impatiens is a relaxing place to watch the birds.
Another bonus from the Lowe's 50% off rack - a yellow canna lily.
I've been stalking the butterflies for the last couple of weeks, hoping to get some good pictures. The Tiger swallowtail hasn't stayed in place long enough, but I did get a picture of the spicebush swallowtail and the silver-spotted skipper.
