My bee balm has been in the ground three years now. The first year it didn't bloom at all. There were a few blooms the second year. This year it finally seems to be at home. I love to watch the transformation from bud to bloom.
See the bee on the back of the flower?

Yours is so pretty, looks like it was worth the wait!
I tried bee balm one year. It got so top-heavy that the stalks would break the second the wind kicked up a little. I haven't grown it since lol.
I love your calla lily ! Mine finally bloomed , but the heat is not helping here with any of my flowers much, Gina
