"Merry my masters, it's daffodil time"

“It is daffodil time, so the robins all cry,
 For the sun's a big daffodil up in the sky,
And when down the midnight the owl call "to-whoo"!
Why, then the round moon is a daffodil too;
Now sheer to the bough-tops the sap starts to climb,
So, merry my masters, it's daffodil time.”

The first daffodils always bring such cheer and hope!

Oh joy! I'm sure mine are about to poke through under the snow, too. When the snow melts later this week, I will check. Happy GBBD!

Lovely! My daffodils are not as far along as yours. I am just now seeing green out of the ground. Hopefully it won't be long we are having gorgeous weather this week.

I still have to wait a few months. It is almost like I get to experience spring longer by seeing other people's stuff pop up first. Enjoy!

Oh Ginny, your daffodils are ahead of mine. I can't wait! Thanks for showing me what I have to look forward to in the coming days. Carla

So pretty, and yours aren't squished flat like mine. Our rain has been very unkind to our daffodils this week!
