looks like your plants are a hair ahead of mine. the nandina berries are still green here. just noticed buds on my yuletide camellia for the first time this morning and a helen mum is starting to bloom. i always feel a little sad about summer wrapping up...not quite ready!
Hard to believe, even with the oppressive heat and drought, I'm starting to see subtle signs of fall too - very subtle! Your transition shots bring me hope!

lovely plants, may they thrive and bring you joy
summer moving to fall soon...too soon..
I love those moments when a plant is on the verge of a new phase of its life--they feel like a rite of passage.
These are all quite beautiful. I love photographing flowers and buds and leaves and such things. You've captured these nicely.
Ah the promises of blooms and fruit. Lovely!

Oh, is fall that close? I was hoping for a few weeks yet. Love your pictures of ripening beauty.
Great shots, a sedum that is referred to as tricolour, I will have to look this up.
Yes, the transition is beautiful. Sad, but beautiful. (I love summer and hate to see it end.)
Transition here as well. They plants are saying so. I was even thinking of pulling some.
