Ginny, your mums are beautiful. There is nothing that says fall better than mums. Carla

Ginny these are stunning images of mums. They usually don't fair well in my garden and climate. I have one pass-a-long from my MIL. These are so lovely

Very beautiful Macros, Ginny. My favorite is the buds in the first photo. Your DoF is beautiful.

Ginny, your mums are gorgeous but your photography is spectacular! That first image is amazing... whoever would have thought that mum buds could look so stunning!

Beautiful, beautiful! You must have a profusion of color in your garden right now!

In Vermont I just loved mums--they're such gorgeous fall flowers, and in such deep, wonderful colors like you've shown here. In New Mexico, they don't seem to "go" in the same way, and I miss them. Your photo about halfway down of the mauve flowers with the teeny-tiny dewdrops (?) just takes my breath away.

Wonderful to still have such colour in the garden, you must have very green fingers!

I heard that mums grow well from cuttings... What a vast assortment of colors you have-- I love them in bouquets, especially nice at this time of year. Your garden must still be full of color!

Beautiful post...I especially like the shot of all the pink/purple buds still tightly closed, just waiting to open up :-)

Just found your blog via Rhone Street Gardens. My goodness, your plants are so abundant! We have lots of the same things but after a year of dreadful weather mine are all puny and struggling so it's lovely to see what they should look like in their full glory. I love your blog header photo too, what a beautiful mixed border.

I'd love to see your garden and plants listed on Folia the garden tracking site. If you sign up (it's free) via my Folia page (there's a link on the sidebar of my blog) I get a gold star from the teacher :0)

I'm off now to peek into your archives and see what else you've been growing in abundance, and to wish for better weather next year so that mine may start to fill out so well.

Ginny, you have captured all the beauty of these autumn stunners. I think they are just as beautiful in bud as in flower...great photos!
