Resign yourself to the influences

"Live each season as it passes; breath the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit,
and resign yourself to the influences of each."
— Henry David Thoreau

I love the influences of this season. . .
Just two of the many beautifully carved pumpkins at the Fearrington Village Pumpkinfest.
Hope you have resigned yourself to the influences of Fall :)

It is really difficult to resign myself to fall this year, but if I must, ok, I will.

Love the pictures depicting fall in all it's glory. Some very talented pumpkin carving there, too.

Fall is the very BEST time of year. And yes, I revel in it. Mine includes a soup pot simmering on the back burner of the stove.
Wonderful pumpkins you've got!

Beautiful images of the fall season. Those pumpkins are amazing! Is that your handy work?

I've added a caption to the photo of the pumpkins giving credit to Fearrington Village for the carving. They were just two of the many beautifully and intricately carved pumpkins on display at the annual Pumpkinfest. My own pumpkin carving skills are limited!

Yes, this year I would have to say I have resigned myself to the influences of fall. It has been an incredibly beautiful season here. I only wish I had more free time. Your images are beautiful! This is one of the loveliest posts I've seen lately!
