"Harshness vanished. A sudden softness
has replaced the meadows' wintry grey.
Little rivulets of water changed
their singing accents. Tendernesses,
hesitantly, reach toward the earth
from space, and country lanes are showing
these unexpected subtle risings
that find expression in the empty trees."
- Rainer Marie Rilke, Early Spring
Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow, and it seems as though winter will never end. But it snowed March 2 of last year, too, and Spring did follow - so, I'm looking ahead and dreaming of all those buds and blooms to come!

Don't worry, spring never skips its turn. It will be here to stay soon and you can be sure you'll have an earlier spring there in NC than I will here in WI.
