"All is a miracle"

“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child -- our own two eyes. All is a miracle.”

Thich Nhat Hanh quotes (Vietnamese Monk, Activist and Writer. b.1926)

These same scenes photographed in just a few weeks will be all green foliage.  And it's all miraculous - the beauty of the emerging foliage , the soft pink of the cherry tree blossoms, and later the cool canopy of leaves.  All under the robin's egg blue sky.

I agree! When I am driving I just look up and see all the beautiful colors this time of year. I wish I could drive and take photos at the same time...not a good idea.:) Pretty post!

Terrific quote ... it is indeed all a miracle. I find myself forever looking around at the marvels of nature and revelling in the images. Lovely photos as well.
