Early light

A fall morning

The early light cuts through the mist.

It's almost as if a window in heaven has opened

to give us a glimpse of the glory.

Ginny, such beautiful photos of the glorious light in the garden. I have been catching up on blog posts and was sorry to read of the passing of your brother. My deepest sympathy to you at this time. My only sibling was a brother, too, and I miss him very much. The quote about the horizon is very beautiful and comforting. Take care.

Each year, I appreciate the changes in the light more and more, those changes you captured in the pictures. The low sunbeams become a spotlight, pointing out the beauty we would otherwise miss.

The morning light holds so much promise, doesn't it? I love that last shot--is it a Nasturtium?

So beautiful in the early morning light! I am up most early mornings but usually groggily stumbling around trying to get my kids ready for the day. I should sit outside one of these mornings as morning light is so pretty and refreshing.
