Did you know that Emily Dickinson was better known in her lifetime as a gardener than as a poet?  "Emily Dickinson's Garden, The Poetry of Flowers" an exhibition at the New York Botanical Garden kicked off April 30 and will be open until June 13.  Unfortunately, I won't be able to experience it in person, but I enjoyed NPR's Morning Edition program on it today.    Click on over to NPR to listen to the story, see pictures from the exhibit, and learn more about Emily Dickinson, the poet gardener.  Or go to the New York Botanical Garden site for details about the exhibit.
